After leaving Capitol Lounge last night, my friends and I wondered what this area looked like back in the early 1900s. After doing some research, I found a photo of Pennsylvania Ave circa 1920 on Shorpy. What use to be the piano store is now the Heritage's annex house, and the restaurant and bar Capitol Lounge was once a Capitol Cleaners. Conveniently located next to the bakery.
