A rousing political drama and powerful historical tale of one of this country’s most important figures played by Daniel Day-Lewis’s. He is the perfect choice to bring a titan like Abraham Lincoln to life. Couple that with Spielberg’s directing and a wonderful supporting cast and you can already hear the Academy fighting to take a bite of the Oscar bait.

In this remake, Red Dawn is a reminder of the post 9/11 world we live in. Spokane, Washington becomes the initial target of a foreign invasion. Under enemy occupation, the town’s citizens are taken prisoner. A group of young people, calling themselves ‘The Wolverines’ (after their high school mascot), band together in the surrounding woods. There, they train and organize themselves into a group of guerrilla fighters in order to liberate their town.

8 Years ago the Lord of the Ring film trilogy finally came to an end. Director Peter Jackson takes us back to the beginning as the prequel with The Hobbit. An unexpected journey where fans of the series will not be disappointed.
I’m pretty certain Tom Cruise really enjoyed his time playing in Mission Impossible because that seems like the only movies he does now. This spy thriller solves a mystery case of who shot-em. If it’s anything like the last mission impossible, count us in.
