Here are a few places we recommend!

Ardeo + Bardeo

Website | Our Review

At Ardeo Bardeo in Cleveland Park, the underlying current, running through every last morsel, is the idea of proper execution. Every detail, every nuance is part of an audacious effort to lure the customer into the culinary mind of Executive Chef Nate Garyantes.

Vidalia

DC Restaurat Week 2012 - Vidalia

Website | Our Review

Eating should never be a chore. Furthermore, it should never be plain. Food should be a trip – a journey that, for a brief moment, takes you out of your day-to-day. Many restaurants in Washington D.C. perfect individual plates but ignore the connection between each dish. Vidalia near Dupont Circle provides both and a great bargain.

Belga Cafe

Website

Belga Cafe, located in the heart of Barracks Row, serves amazing Belgium cuisine. A few items on the menu that are a must are the mussels and french fries and the goat cheese salad. This restaurant is a favorite of many of our contributors.

Rasika

Rasika - DC Restaurant Week 2012

Website | Our Review

A culinary Shangri-La due to the challenge of getting reservations. Rasika embraces the range and richness that characterize the spices and complex, layered gravies of Indian cuisine while always straddling the expectations of its upscale Western audience.

Oceanaire

Website

Known for its fresh seafood, Oceanaire’s food is exceptional. May we suggest ordering hash browns or asparagus with your meal. You won’t be disappointed. Staff is very knowledgeable and can help pair the meal with a good cocktail.

Oyamel

Washington DC Restaurant Week 2012 - Oyamel

Website

Jose Andres’ trendy Mexican restaurant, Oyamel, certainly deserves to be on your Restaurant Week list. It’s the perfect place for gourmet tacos, fresh handmade guacamole dip and even the starter chips and salsa, made from fried masa and seasoned with chilies, are uncommonly well prepared. The restaurant has a busy and energetic atmosphere, Oyamel is a must try.
