We found this old dc metro map at Rocklands BBQ in Arlington (near the George Mason campus). It was dated in the bottom left with “copyright 1983″.
By looking at the graphic you can notice some differences from today’s dc metro map.
- You can tell that the orange and blue lines would go only one direction
- The Green Line was just a planned project
- DCA was was just “National Airport”. It was named Reagan National Airport by Pres. Clinton in 1998.
